Lace Weaver Spider (Amaurobius similis) 
 
  
  
 
 
Lace Weaver Spider is called after the lace-like web it constructs at the entrance to a hole. 
It has a distinctive velvety abdomen and legs. The male is up to 7mm in size and slimmer than the female but otherwise similar. The female is up to 10mm in size.
